Going over a bump my head lights go out

Well I got a problem in my 1998 f150. Not a daily driver but I still use it for projects. And now I can't use it at night.

When I go over bumps the headlights will flicker on and off. I'm no good at electrical problems!

Any help? Thanks

Well its definitely an electrical issue so I think an attitude change is necessary for you to fix it. Instead of saying "I'm no good at electrical problems!" say something like,

"I'm willing to learn about it". It's either that or pay the mechanic his fee and it might be a lot

Might be an easy fix so start off with the wiggle test. Turn the headlights on and just wiggle the wires. See if they flicker.
